This extremely rare hosta originates from Van Wade, the former owner of Wade and Gatton Nursery, which has now closed. We obtained our piece of this giant blue-green hosta at an auction hosted by the American Hosta Society. At that time, it was one of only three divisions to leave the Wade and Gatton display gardens.
