Refund policy

Don't hesitate to contact us within 48 hours of receiving your hostas if they arrive damaged or in poor condition. Please include a photo(s) of the plant(s) and the packaging in which they arrived.

If you receive an incorrect order, contact us promptly with your order number and a detailed description. Once we receive your concerns, we will review the information and photos you have provided and contact you with instructions and written permission to return the plants, if necessary.

Return Procedure

Please note that we cannot accept returns of plants that have been planted. Once a plant has been introduced to a new environment, there is a risk of exposure to diseases and pests that could spread to our nursery stock. For the health of all our inventory, we cannot accept returns of planted material.  Upon arrival, please inspect your new plants before placing them in your yard or garden.

Refunds and Replacements

We offer refunds or exchanges to customers who receive damaged or improperly labeled plants. Hosta Choice Gardens is committed to providing our customers with a positive experience. Our customer commitment guarantees no additional shipping charges for approved returns and exchanges. Qualifying returns (damaged / improperly labeled) must be received by us within 30 days of you receiving them. 

We take great care to ensure our plants are healthy and accurately represented. However, as living organisms, plants can be sensitive to environmental changes beyond our control once they leave our care. Therefore, we cannot accept returns or offer plant refunds/exchanges because a customer changed their mind after delivery. We encourage you to carefully read all plant descriptions and available images before purchasing.

Return Conditions 

Before returning plants to us, you must contact us and receive a return confirmation number and a letter of authorization. No refunds or exchanges will be made without prior approval, and the plant(s) have arrived safely at our nursery.

To ensure the health and well-being of our plants during the return process, we require that they be returned in their original packaging. This specialized packaging protects the plant(s) from damage during transport. Please also include all original shipping documents to help us identify your order. We will gladly sign for any parcel you send if you wish to send it with a "signature required" request.
