At Hosta Choice Gardens, we treat every order with the same care we give our mother plants. Before any plant leaves our Bécancour property, it is personally verified as True to Type and packaged to arrive in the best possible condition. We monitor local forecasts at your delivery location and will contact you by phone before your order ships to confirm you are ready to receive it.
We expect shipping to commence the week of May 24th, 2026. All orders — including those placed by email prior to our shopping cart opening — are processed and shipped in the exact order they were received.
Free Shipping — Orders Over $175.00
All orders over $175.00 (before taxes) qualify for free shipping anywhere in Canada — from the Rockies to the Maritimes. Free shipping is fulfilled via Purolator Ground.
Standard Shipping — Orders Under $175.00
For orders under $175.00, shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout. You may choose between two carriers at checkout:
- Purolator — reliable door-to-door delivery across Canada.
- Canada Post — an alternative option, particularly well-suited for rural and remote addresses.
Shipping rates are calculated based on your location, package weight, and the carrier selected.
Add to Your Order Before It Ships
New cultivars are added to our catalogue regularly throughout the season. If you spot something you'd like to add to an existing order before it ships, contact us directly and we'll add it for you — so you only pay shipping once. This applies to all orders, regardless of how or when they were placed, right up until your shipping confirmation goes out.
