'Lemon Smoothie' is a unique and rare cultivar originating from the expert work of Monty and Julie Carlson of Minnesota. Its hybrid parentage, possibly including H. longipes var. latifolia 'Urajiro Hachijo', creates a one-of-a-kind plant with a distinct appearance and growth pattern. As we have never divided or sold this variety before, it is a unique addition to any collection. Not available in Canada or the USA.
The plant offered is a division taken in Fall 2024 from our Originator Stock plant. Only one plant is available in 2025.

The divisions offered are from our Originator Stock plant purchased jointly by Hosta Choice Gardens and another grower for $625 USD at the 2013 AHS Convention in Milwaukee. At the time, it was the only division Olga had taken from her Originator plant. Plants currently being offered by other nurseries are tissue culture stock that have been produced after our 2013 purchase.
