A Stately Vision of Broad Leaves and Bright Borders
Hosta 'Amazing Grace' is a magnificent large-stature cultivar from hybridizers Dick and Jane Ward. The Wards registered it in 1999 from a cross of H. 'Pin Stripe' and H. montana f. macrophylla. The massive broad leaves carry a deep green centre and a strikingly wide creamy-white border with a slightly rippled texture and prominent veining. It performs reliably across Canadian hardiness zones 3 through 9 and fills its space with vigour. Plant it where it has room to arch and anchor a woodland garden with a lush, professional presence.
-

-
Size: 50 cm (20") tall × 100 cm (39") wide.
-

Grower's Tip: 'Amazing Grace' handles Canadian winters with ease from Zone 3 through 9, and its montana genes give it a wide arching habit that can easily overtop smaller companions — give it space to perform. At our nursery in Bécancour, QC, we wait for the signature wide rippled margins to define themselves each spring before shipping. Our True to Type standard means you receive the authentic Ward selection.
