R. Mortko registered Hosta 'Carry On' in 2013 as a sport of H. 'Pilgrim', selected for its notably wider creamy white margin. Medium green leaves are broadly ovate with a tapered base and moderately wavy edges, each framed by a 1.3–1.6 cm (0.5–0.625") rippled cream border. Clumps grow quickly to 30.5 cm (12") tall and 76.2 cm (30") wide, making it one of the faster small-medium hostas in the border. Pale purple blooms add a soft seasonal accent in summer. Canadian gardeners from Zone 3 through 9 will find it easy to establish and quick to impress.
