Deeply Cupped Foliage Sculpted for the North
Hosta 'Dixie Cups' is a Tony Avent introduction registered in 2007. Avent crossed Hosta 'Korean Snow' × Hosta 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' to produce this bold, architectural cultivar. Its nearly round leaves are deeply corrugated and moderately cupped, giving the foliage a striking sculptural quality. The medium blue-green colour holds well through the season and suits Canadian gardens from zones 3–9. It works beautifully as a mid-border focal point or massed planting in a shaded bed.
