Randy Goodwin registered Hosta 'Drew's Standard' as a sport of a seedling from the H. 'Bravo' line. It is a small to medium cultivar with broadly ovate, dark green leaves and a rounded leaf base. Wide creamy white margins of 1.3–2.5 cm radiate into the dark green centre with striking contrast. The foliage is lightly cupped, folded, and wavy with a slightly shiny surface on both sides. It grows reliably across Canadian hardiness zones 3 through 9.
