A Watchful Presence with Glaucous Elegance
C. & R. Thompson registered Hosta 'Guardian Angel' in 1995 as a sport of H. 'Blue Angel'. It features striking light green centres and intensely blue-green margins up to 2.5 cm wide. The heavily glaucous undersides shimmer with a silvery bloom that deepens through the season. This large mound reaches 61 cm tall and 91 cm wide, making a bold landscape statement. It adapts beautifully to Canadian gardens from Zone 3 through 9.
