Ingrid Bootsman introduced Hosta 'Beautiful Hope' as a fantastic new cultivar with a distinctive upright, vase-shaped mound of powdery blue leaves. The slightly puckered foliage features a rippled margin and a soft glaucous bloom that gives the clump a cool, refined presence in the shade garden. We acquired it in 2025 and it has performed impressively in its first season at our nursery, showing a fast growth rate that bodes well for gardeners eager for results. Lavender blooms add a warm seasonal accent above the blue foliage. Canadian gardeners from Zone 3 through 9 will find it an exciting addition to the border.
