Order Placed (w/both "preorder" items and also "instock" items) Understanding your invoice.

When placing an order that includes both "in-stock" and "preordered" items, it is essential to understand the payment structure of your invoice. This guide outlines the key aspects of such orders to ensure clarity and transparency for our customers.

*For items that are currently "in stock," customers will be charged the stated retail or sale price, including any applicable product HST, GST or QST. This charge will be processed at the time of order placement.

*For "preordered" items, a deposit of 50% of the total price will be required at the time of ordering. This deposit will only cover the "preorder" items, with the applicable HST, GST or QST being calculated and charged on July 7, 2025. It is important to note that the remaining balance for the "preordered" products, along with the full HST, GST or QST applicable to those items, will be charged to the customer's payment method on July 7, 2025

*Shipping costs will be calculated based on the customer's choice of shipping provider/method, either Canada Post or Purolator, during the checkout process. This charge will include any applicable shipping HST, GST or QST. Customers should be aware that the shipping fees for "pre-ordered" items will be applied at the time of their original checkout, ensuring that all costs are transparent before finalizing the order.

Customers should be aware that they have the flexibility to cancel a partially paid preorder before the order is fulfilled, allowing for changes in circumstances or preferences. If your preorder is ready ahead of schedule we will contact you by email to see if you are ready to receive your hostas. Balances owing on preorders must be cleared before shipping can take place. 

On July 7, 2025, all remaining charges, including the balance of the items purchased and applicable taxes, will be automatically charged to your original method of payment. It is advisable to ensure that your payment method remains valid- please contact us well in advance if you wish to change your payment method for the outstanding balance. 

In summary, when ordering items that include "pre-orders," customers can expect the following:

  • Full payment for in-stock items at the time of order placement, including applicable HST, GST or QST.
  • A 50% deposit on "pre-ordered" items, with the remaining balance and applicable HST, GST or QST charged on July 7, 2025
