A Luminous Giant for the Canadian Shade Garden
Hans Hansen introduced Hosta 'Age of Gold' through Walters Gardens in 2018. He crossed an unnamed H. 'Elatior' seedling with 'American Sweetheart' to create this golden specimen. The result is a large, heart-shaped hosta with brilliant golden-yellow foliage that holds its colour through the full Canadian growing season. It suits woodland borders, shade beds, and specimen plantings in zones 3–9.
