Hosta 'Country Dreaming' is a large blue hosta registered in 2013 by Don Dean. It is a cross between Hosta 'Purple Verticulated Elf' and Hosta 'Northern Heritage'. Its most commanding trait is the intensely glaucous, dark blue-green foliage that holds its colour deep into the season. It thrives across Canadian hardiness zones 3–9, performing reliably from the cool valleys of the Rockies to the Maritimes.
