Doug and Mardy Beilstein bred Hosta 'Envy' and registered it in 2013. It produces smooth green leaves edged in a crisp white margin that holds from spring through to frost. The tidy mound suits borders, containers, or as a companion to darker foliage plants. It is reliably hardy across Canadian zones 3–9. This refined, low-maintenance cultivar earns its name.
