Bold Twists and a Crisp White Stripe
Foxfire Gardens introduced Hosta 'Foxfire Viper' as a sport of H. 'Undulata Univittata'. It builds a medium mound 41 cm (16") high and 91 cm (36") wide with a vigorous, spreading habit. The deep green leaves are corrugated with distinctively twisted tips and carry a very narrow white centre stripe that sharpens as the season progresses. It performs reliably across Canadian gardens from Zone 3 through 9. Pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage in July, adding a soft seasonal accent.

Grower's Tip: 'Foxfire Viper' handles Canadian winters with ease from Zone 3 through 9, and its vigorous spreading habit fills a shady border quickly. We grow it at our nursery in Bécancour, QC, where the twisted, corrugated foliage makes it one of the more visually distinctive cultivars in our shade beds. Our True to Type standard means you receive the authentic Hosta 'Foxfire Viper', verified before it leaves Bécancour.
