Rhythm and Drama in Every Rippled Leaf
Don Dean registered Hosta 'Louie Louie' in 2014 as part of his celebrated Don Dean Collection. It forms a medium-sized mound with lance-shaped, medium green leaves edged in a near-white to white rippled margin. The ruffled margins create a sense of movement that sets it apart from flat-edged cultivars. In late summer, rich burgundy scapes rise above the foliage carrying soft lavender flowers. Hardy from Zone 3 through 9, it performs beautifully across Canada's diverse climates.

-
Medium, manageable size: At 33 cm (13") tall and 107 cm (42") wide, it fills space generously without overwhelming smaller garden beds.
