Chuck Wasitis registered Hosta 'Miss American Pie' in 2008 through Bridgewood Gardens. It is a seedling of H. 'Uncle Albert' with an unknown pollen parent. The leaves are medium green, heavily rippled along the margins, and lightly cupped and folded. The glaucous bloom on the underside creates a striking powdery white contrast. This medium-sized mound suits shaded borders and woodland gardens across Canada.
