Hosta 'Skyrocket'|Vibrant leaves & lavender blooms. Crossbreed of 'Gold Regal' & 'Tokudama' seedling

Description

Golden-yellow leaves with unique texture

H. 'Skyrocket' boasts striking broad, ovate golden-yellow leaves that catch the eye. These leaves have a glossy top surface and a glaucous underside, offering an intriguing contrast. Lightly cupped and wavy, they exhibit a corrugated texture that adds depth to any garden.

A beautifully structured plant

'Skyrocket' forms an impressive vase-shaped mound with its uniquely styled foliage. The elegant shape complements various garden designs. As it matures, the mound maintains its structure while accentuating the plant’s architectural beauty.

Attractive mid-summer blooms

Come mid-July, medium lavender flowers appear, rising above the golden foliage. They bloom in clusters along the scape, providing a lovely spectacle. This charming combination stems from its parentage—a blend of 'Gold Regal' and a gold 'Tokudama' seedling—enhancing its garden appeal.
