A Texture-Rich Marvel of Deeply Cupped Foliage
Hosta 'Cousin Lou Ann' is a medium-large green hosta selected by Mark Zilis. Its broadly ovate leaves are deeply cupped and moderately corrugated with intensely wavy margins. The upper surface is very shiny, contrasting with a glaucous, waxy bloom on the underside. It thrives in Canadian shade gardens across zones 3–9. Its slow growth rate rewards patient collectors with some of the most dramatic leaf texture in the genus.

Grower's Tip: Plant 'Cousin Lou Ann' in a slightly elevated position or near a garden path so the corrugated cupping can be appreciated up close. Because this cultivar is a slower grower, we wait at our Bécancour trial fields until the rounded base, wavy habit, and deep cupping are fully expressed and True to Type before every order ships.
