A Dutch Introduction with Striking Two-Tone Foliage for the Shady Border
Gerard Heemskerk introduced Hosta 'Goldrush' from Holland as a sport of H. 'Birchwood Parky’s Gold'. It features yellowish-green centred leaves framed by a wide blue-green margin and is topped with lavender flowers. It reaches a mature size of 18 cm × 30 cm (7" × 12") and is classified as a medium hosta. It performs reliably across Canadian hardiness zones 3–9.
