The nearly round, lightly folded leaves are very shiny on top, giving the compact mound a polished, reflective quality that catches light beautifully in the shade border. Near-white tubular flowers arrive on short green scapes in early July. It performs reliably across Canadian hardiness zones 3 through 9.
