A Towering Champion of the Shade Garden
Mark Zilis registered Hosta 'Victory' in 2003 as a sport of H. nigrescens 'Elatior'. The American Hosta Growers Association named it Hosta of the Year in 2015. Broadly ovate leaves are medium green with a creamy yellow margin that shifts to cream-white through summer. Both leaf surfaces are very shiny, giving the foliage a polished, luminous quality across zones 3–9. Use it as a commanding upright specimen in large shaded borders or woodland gardens.
