Discover the uniquely bred 'Purple Bow Tie' O/S from Ohio hosta expert Dave Bowe. This hosta boasts a compact size (9"x17") and medium green, ovate leaves with a subtle wave and dull finish. Registered in 2021 as a seedling of (H. 'One Man's Treasure' X H. 'Cinnamon Sticks') x H. 'Cookie Crumbs.' With deep purple, bell-shaped flowers blooming into September, this cultivar will surely add a pop of colour to any garden.
Purchased at the 2018 American Hosta Association Convention auction in Peoria, Illinois, for $140 USD.
Plants offered are divisions from the Originator Stock plant from the auction. Very rare selection and does not appear to be available in Canada or the USA.
